BEL AIR RESORT consists of 8 modern 2-4 bedroom cottages and is located in northwestern lower Michigan, approximately 40 miles northeast of Traverse City, on Intermediate Lake. The resort is on Snowflake Road, off of highway M-88, midway between Bellaire and Central Lake.

 

We are a year-round resort. From the first week-end in June thru Labor Day rentals are available by the week only. The rest of the year you may rent by the day (2 day minimum), the week or the month. Rates vary depending on cottage size and location. Click on "Pictures and Rates" to see prices, inside and outside views of each cottage, as well as pictures of the beach, playground and lake. From Labor Day thru May we offer a 10% discount to any groups (fishing, hunting, skiing, snowmobiling, church, etc) that rent 2 or more cottages. Only cottages 1,4,5,8 are available from Dec. thru Feb.

 

The lake is great for swimming, skiing, boating, and fishing. It is nine miles long with accesses on both ends to other parts of the famous Chain-O-Lakes. We have over 200 feet of lake frontage and our swimming area goes out 150 feet before it drops off, so it is great for the kids. The lake and beach area also offer wonderful scenes of the beautiful northern Michigan outdoors, especially during the fall color season.

 

The resort is secluded, but golfing, hiking, bike riding, hunting, canoeing, tennis, basketball, running track, downhill and cross country skiing, snowmobiling, bowling, shops and restaurants, are all within a few miles of the resort. We are only 8 miles from Shanty Creek/Schuss Mountain Resort. Save yourself or your group money by staying with us while you golf and ski there.
